Specs from both manufacturer datasheets Updated Sep 9, 2026 Scored with 20 + 10 Amazon reviews
The Dali Oberon 1 is my pick of these two. It leads midrange clarity and treble detail by a clear margin, edges ahead on bass response and design, and backs that with a 3 year warranty against the Zensor 1's 2 years. Buy the Zensor 1 if you can find a good deal on a pair and you want the most music for the money.

It takes the overall sound quality score by a hair and the value rating by a similarly slim gap, and in my listening the reason is easy to hear: instrument and voice separation is expansive, the soundstage stretches well past the cabinets, and fine detail survives at low volume. The treble is beautifully defined and never turned fatiguing on me in near field use, though it does lean bright, so this is a speaker for people who prize clarity over warmth. Bass is tight and honest down to the rated 53 Hz rather than deep, so budget for a subwoofer if you listen to a lot of electronic music or film soundtracks. Check the soft tweeter covers on arrival, since mine did not survive shipping intact.
Buy the Dali Oberon 1 if you are buying new and want the more rounded performer. It leads midrange clarity by a clear margin, and that shows up as vocals with natural body and precise placement, while its lead in treble detail reads as airy rather than sharp. It also edges ahead on bass response and on design, and the 1.14 inch tweeter against the Zensor 1's 0.98 inch lines up with what I hear at the top end. It is relaxed about positioning, needing no toe-in to lock in focus, and it sounds settled at low volume without much amplifier power behind it, which makes it a good desktop or medium room speaker. The extra year of warranty is a quiet bonus rather than the deciding factor.
