Buy the Pioneer SP-FS52 if you want the most finished result for the least money, or if you are furnishing a whole room rather than a single listening chair. It leads on sound quality, design and value for money, and the value gap is not close. Give it a dozen hours before judging it, because the highs start harsh and settle into something neutral and easy to live with. Rock and pop suit it best, and the balanced midrange holds up across genres. If you play a lot of EDM or large scale orchestral music, plan on adding a subwoofer, since the low end is competent rather than deep. A 6 ohm load and 87 dB sensitivity also make it far less fussy about partnering electronics.
